Sign up and first login to AdBooks

In this guide, you will learn how to create your AdBooks account and open the app for the first time. Sign-up takes a few minutes, and AdBooks then sets up VAT, currency and invoice templates for your company.

1. Email and getting started

  1. Enter your email address.
  2. Click Start for free.

2. Company stage and industry

These answers help AdBooks show you first what you need most.

  1. Choose the stage of your company.
  2. Choose your company's activity.
  3. Choose what you want to try first. In this example we start with invoices and estimates.
  4. Click Continue.

3. Company details

You enter your company details once. They then appear on every invoice and quote.

  1. Enter the company name.
  2. Invoices are sent from the email you entered at the start. If you want a separate email for sending invoices, click here and enter it.
  3. Enter the registered address.
  4. Choose the country of registration.
  5. The currency is set based on the customer's country. On every invoice and estimate, you can also choose a different currency.
  6. Enter the business phone.

4. VAT

  1. If you are VAT registered, enter your VAT number.
  2. AdBooks suggests the VAT rate based on your company's country.
  3. Not VAT registered? Click I am not VAT registered.

5. Your details and password

  1. Click Continue.
  2. Enter your first and last name.
  3. Create a password.
  4. Click Finish and enter AdBooks.
  5. AdBooks prepares your tax, currency and invoice templates.
  6. Done. Your account is ready.

Tips

  • Everything you enter at sign-up can be changed later in your company and account settings.
