Creating an estimate

Updated 07.10.2026

In this guide, you will learn how to create a quote for a customer: customer, validity, items, VAT and note.

1. New quote and customer

  1. In the menu, click Estimates.
  2. Click the new estimate button.
  3. If the customer is not in the list, click Add customer.
  4. Choose the customer.

2. Number, date and validity

  1. The estimate number and date are already filled in.
  2. Enter how long the estimate is valid.

3. Items

  1. Click Add an item and choose a service.
  2. If the item isn't on the list, click the blue Add an item button and type it in. The new item is saved to your products automatically.
  3. You can change the quantity and price on every line.

4. VAT and amounts

  1. If you are VAT registered, choose VAT 20%. If not, leave it empty and no VAT is shown.
  2. Here you choose whether VAT is added to the price or already included in it.
  3. Here you see the net amount, the VAT and the total.
  4. With the Growth and Booster plans, you get the Estimator: a product database with names and prices by trade and industry.

5. Footer and saving

  1. The Footer contains the note from your settings, if you entered one. You can change it for each estimate.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Done. The estimate is saved.

Summary
